For those following the Trending Team story of ZedRun there is good news to report. The creation of Party Farmhouse Farms arrived when horses became available for as low as 0.001 ETH. Previously, pre mint phase required 400 dollars sitting in WETH to get a Genesis. Looking back it would have been a great place to HodL some WETH. But, you can’t go back in time to get in early on a game. Thus, there was the idea to make an investment.
The concept of improving a horses stats by running it to a preferred gate was worthy of a test. The time investment into this was considerable. Starting with Racing Out of Ruin would result in 250 dollars originally invested. The idea became to support the Zed token with sales of horse NFTs. The purchasing strategy was improved. Once honing in on the product I needed to improve my stable. My daily traverse of Hawku would assist in the development of Party Farmhouse Farms. I’m happy to share my largest gain after taking the purchasing strategy into effect.

However, I’ve found running each distance may result in the discovery of preferred distance. A horse is might fire up in any distance. Racing every distance is a personal preference. You may want to select your horses first distance of fire up, and keep running that one distance for the duration of your ownership.
Maiden Monday is an event that offers a chance for breeders to enter their horses into a shot at additional winnings beyond the Griffen race. As we know the first race a ZedRun NFT runs can result in a return. Winning WETH that covers the price of your horse breed is possible. Also, from the analysis of the run one win one horse. The price of a horse that’s run one race, and won it, can offer a nice return. In the longevity of my game play I’ll report on that in the future. In order to race once, win, and sell. It has to be done. The highest I’ve seen a horse with one race, and one win, sell for is 3 ETH. Therefore, I won’t be afraid to list my race one win one for 3 ETH over a 3 month period. As you may know this story doesn’t come without failures. I check in on the horses that I’ve created, and sold. Currently there’s only one in Ramapo. Ramapo ran 87 races, and hasn’t won one yet. Swumbu won a race in the 2,000m within her first 10 races. Swumbu has the ability to become a breeder herself as a filly. In my early days I was shooting in the dark. My strategy has improved. The game itself changes over time. Using my purchasing strategy I found a horse of my interest that can help explain the reason Russian Flex may be worth more than 0.014 WETH to the person that purchases the Filly.
The cost to mint a Buterin Pacer with another Buterin Pacer is 0.01 WETH. This cost can be reduced to 0.0065 WETH when owning both horses. If someone was to attempt to breed their own horse it would require ownership of horses prior to beat my price. Now, if all their horses aren’t as good as my horses. Obviously, I’m more likely to have a better horse. Thus, Russian Flex gets it name from her mother Sloppy Russian. The name Flex comes from the golden color. When tracing the horse back in legacy it’s the first of its Flex color. I suspect Russian Flex to be an 1800m horse. But, it’s not impossible to be a sprinter or marathoner. If no one purchases Russian Flex by the time the Monday Maiden begins I’ll enter into the race myself. At that point, I’ll have to remove the sale offer. It will take 20 races to complete the entry into the Monday Maiden. My best race effort will be to sustain entry into races with 96% or better freshness. 96% is about 4 races to most horses. By the 5th race they are at 95% freshness. Analysis of the ZedRun website may provide additional reason for my election to run 96+ freshness. As we can see on the home website at 95% on the freshness graph the horses begin to degrade. As we may already conclude to purchase a winning Filly comes at a cost.
I knew where I was going with this article, and did the leg work! Hawku applied an addition of Muzzle Run. The Muzzle Run game is growing more exclusive with its updated price to mint a pack. The mint price increase, and application arriving with listing ability on Hawku, returned a few sales. Muzzle Run profits were used to purchase Miss Aquarius. With my expertise on the game watching it since it’s infancy, and daily combing of the Hawku marketplace. I know immediately when I see a good buy. At that price you’ll own two horses. It may not be a bad approach.
Let’s say you buy a male horse, and a female. Budgeting 0.005 ETH each you’re at 0.01 WETH to own two horses. To breed will cost you 0.0065 ETH with internal farm discount applied. For 0.0165 ETH you’ll have three horses. There are combinations of horses you can do this with, and availability. But, if you start tonight. You may take a lot of time to get to breeding. The Maiden Monday starts on Monday. It takes days to get 20 races in to qualify. If you have a full week to invest you might have a story that beats my Russian Flex. However, I believe my price is fair considering the horse has been well breed. Also, if I sell it I have a plan. Your purchase of Russian Flex might birth a foal from my Miss Aquarius. In stud news my best stats aren’t the most successful breeding companion. Noe Never Leaving boasts the best stats. G00DPAC3R from Vitalik’s Pony Club was my first to gain the third party stud. That was a great buy! The purple horses sure are pretty! The only thing that captured my attention here is the trace of funds. I woke up, and nothing had sold. I was assisted in checking my third party racers, and no one had gambled to win. But, there was additional money in my account. I quickly checked my studs. Sure enough G00DPAC3R had an offspring. Swumbu actually ran against the offspring in its’ maiden race. I knew G00DPAC3R had a number of offspring. I was hopeful that the horse would be studded in the future. It happened in a days time! I have placed studs in the window dozens of times. Go to where the G00 is coming from, and you may find yourself a small return from studding.
Let’s add up the total! To come out of Zed into cash will obviously cost fees. To consider someone wants to make a profit from investment of time is obvious. If the fees cost xyz to pull out. We can calculate that when the day arrives. $189 USD in zed tokens! 28 horses in loaner window that may net residual income from third party gambler interest. 72 horses in stable making for a total of 100 horses. Every horse has at least one win except for the one awaiting Maiden Monday’s event. At a value of 0.001 ETH for all horses. But, the time investment will likely result in daily play. I’m resisting early on because I’m fascinated with gaming for money without much risk.
